Queen, a pedigree English bull terrier with a soft spot for kittens This is Queen, a pedigree English bull terrier with a soft spot for kittens. When her owners found a tiny abandoned kitten on their property and took it home with them, Queen took over the kitten's welfare to such an extent that she produced milk and suckled it. The kitten, Socks, has since then regarded Queen as its mother.
"Pssst, don't look to your left now, but there's someone trying to join in and she's not one of us!" This husky couldn't resist when the opportunity arose to have a water game with the local Labs. Water game with the local Labs
Trixie is the daughter of a hard working border collie mum, and a visiting British champion corgi "Hi Squirt! Don't you worry, I'll look after you - as long as you realise just who's boss around here!" Trixie is the daughter of a hard working border collie mum, and a visiting British champion corgi. She has been known to leap into irrigation canals to kill water rats, yet when her owner's pet mice escaped she gathered them up in her mouth and sought out a family member to give them to - completely unscathed. Some time later she watched her owner's cat catch a field mouse by waiting until it came out from under the house. She observed the praise the cat received, and duplicated the process herself, laying the dead mouse down in front of a family member. Needless to say she received the praise she sought.
