Dog Days in the Park 2008
sure to be best-yet
 |
| Winston, a gentle giant of the canine world, fascinated the many children who took time to talk to him. |
DOG Days in the Park takes place each September and features food, drink, live music, both pet and people product vendors, a children's play area, adoptable rescue animals from groups all around the Jacksonville area and other animal-related performances. For our inaugural event in 2006, we had over 500 attendees from across Northeast Florida. Last year, our attendance grew to over 700 people.
Keep this date free on your calendar: The third annual Dog Days in the Park will be held at Klutho Park, Springfield, in downtown Jacksonville on Saturday September 20, 2008 11am - 5pm. For more information visit the website: www.sacarc.org.
The Springfield Animal Care & Rescue Club - better known as SACARC - is a non-profit group of volunteers devoting their time to rescuing dogs and cats from the streets of this small community. Since the group's inception just a little over two years ago, it has rescued more than 100 animals and found them wonderful new families.
