This book is very helpful to those who have not yet bought their puppy and want their choice to be the right one. A good guide to the considerations you need to answer before you make that very large decision.

And once you have decided on the right breed and puppy for you, it will help you to do the right things for your puppy while he or she is young and flexible. Ask any good trainer and they will tell you (in private) that training a dog really means that about 80 percent of their job is training the owners to do the right things for their dogs.

Taking that into consideration it is books like this one that owners and future owners should be reading so that they are already trained in what it means to be a good owner. A book to digest and take on-board. - EP
