Book review:
The Behavioural Biology of Dogs
Cabi Publishing (paperback)
by P Jensen
$US70.00
THIS is a large book of 288 pages that can almost be called a text book for anyone interested in canine behaviour and the reasons behind it. It is a well-organised book, making it easy to read and remember facts.
The author has called on the knowledge of various people with expertise in specific fields to combine their efforts into one three-part volume covering evolution and development; normal dog behaviour; and finally problem behaviour and what to do about it.
Only released in April, this is another new release with a refreshingly modern approach to dog ownership and the responsibilities that come with it. Highly recommended. - EP
