Dog Days in the Park for
pets and their families
THE Springfield Animal Care and Rescue Club would like to formally invite all vendors and fun day seekers to participate in the club's second annual Dog Days in the Park festival in Klutho Park on September 29, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Last year's inaugural event was a huge success with more than 500 vendors attending. Designed for all members of the family, Dog Days in the Park is the premiere event of the year for residents of Northeast Florida and their pets. Springfield Animal Care and Rescue Club's annual fundraising event will give vendors the chance to reach out to residents of Northeast Florida at a most precious time - while they are relaxing with their pets. And pet owners can observe and ask questions at their own pace and purchase their choices from a huge range of vendors.
All proceeds from Dog Days in the Park will benefit Springfield Animal Care and Rescue Club, a committee of the Springfield Improvement Association
and Woman's Club (est. 1904). The rescue club was created to rescue and place homeless pets with loving families by working in conjunction with local animal organizations. We are also dedicated to spaying and neutering neighborhood stray dogs and feral cats, while raising pet awareness and education.
If you would like to be a vendor at Dog Days in the Park, please contact the club on: contactus@sacarc.org and you will be given a choice of a variety of vendor packages, with an explanation of the different package levels and the benefits associated with each.
For everyone else, just bring yourselves and families - mark the day on your calendar and help to make each day a little brighter for the lost and forgotten pets of Historic Springfield.
