THIS is an easy-to-read book that gives information and training tips in a good, brief form for those who have not much knowledge on the subject.
Don't buy it and expect it to be all about training a puppy - there is some information on puppy training, but the name of the book says it all - how to housebreak your DOG!
I think that too many people buy a puppy or a dog and then keep searching for 'miracle' ways to train them, without any time or effort on their part. Well, that is not about to happen! This book clearly shows that it takes quite a large hunk of effort to achieve the desired pet, but it is effort that you need to spend. Don't bother if you are not prepared to show your dog that you love him enough to persist quietly until he gets it right.
This book has been around for quite a number of years, but is no less useful now than it was about 15 years ago with its logical training tips and commonsense approach.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has recently bought a dog or puppy and suddenly found that they have a wet (or worse) problem. The solution is there - all you need to do is accept it with a smile and a lot of patience. RRP $7.99. - EP
