Letters from readers:
Reprinting of K9 articles
Hello,
I AM the tracking representative for our zone in British Columbia, Canada. Would you please give us permission to put the article Dogs' tracking abilities depend on the weather on our website? We have developed a website devoted to all aspects of tracking and I am also asking for permission to add your website as a link to our site.
Also, would you give us permission to at random use articles from your site to ours? Your organization or author would be acknowledged as the author of this article should it be featured in the articles page of our site at: www.mytrackingdog.com - Gary Roe, Canadian Kennel Club Tracking Representative, Zone 11, British Columbia Southwest, Canada.
Hi Gary,
Yes, I would be very happy for you to link with my website. Just go to our home page and click on directory at the bottom of the page, then on the next page click new url, and follow the instructions from there.
Re the articles, I am happy for you to reprint articles by the magazine compilers (myself included) but you would always need to contact me to inquire, as most of our articles are sent in by independent writers and would therefore need the permission of that writer.
The article in question came from California (email address already sent to you) so you will need to contact the writer for permission. - Ed
