Civilised? Yeah, right!
Cixi - death

| This little dog tries to run - a Jack Russell X Shih Tzu by its features. |
TAKE a look at the faces above - would you allow these killers near your children? The saying goes that you can "judge a nation's treatment of its citizens by the way it treats its animals" - and in this case I think we can draw our own conclusions!
Some of these human animals are cops - and they were joined by a squad of volunteers interested only in the cash! They killed over 40,000 dogs in five days - and were rewarded with a bounty of 1.5 pounds for each dog.
Warning - one or more of these "upstanding citizens" may sit next to you at the next Olympics in China - that alone is enough reason not to attend!

Is it dead yet? This little dog, showing a gash and blood from being bashed, is soon returned to the hands of the eager goons waiting expectantly with their iron bars to finish it off.

On October 10, 2004 the Cixi Local Government announced that it had made a decision because 14 people had died from rabies during the year (obviously they have not heard of inocculation), and because most dogs were not registered with the government or the vet. The decision was to kill all the dogs in the Cixi region. (A decision like that had to be inspired by their limited intelligence and "civilised" humanitarianism - Ed)

Okay boys, have fun, this one's for you!

The killing group was under legal protection, but citizens did not enjoy the same protection from the legalised gangs.
"There was blood everywhere in the city - you could even smell it," said a shocked resident. The killers were on a cash spree and nothing would stop them - to get more money they broke into private properties, stole pet dogs and beat any owners who tried to stop them.
These are the real things happening in (civilised?) China today. They will happen every day in future, for every family there who has dog!
Remember also that there are no rottweilers, German shepherds, Dobermans, Labradors, Samoyeds or other large dogs - China has had a 12-14 inch high restriction for some years. These are your spaniels, Jack Russells, Foxies, Shih Tzus, corgis, dachshunds, and even Chihuahuas - and many crosses of such breeds (Whew! the fearlessness of these brave dog hunters knows no bounds - Ed).
And now, the same thing is scheduled to happen in other towns - Guilin council made an order to "clean dogs from the area" from November 30th. I have no doubt it is already too late for the dogs and people of this town too! Perhaps another 40,000 will already be "noosed, then bludgeoned to death with steel pipes" for the bounty money.

Another blood-covered body for the growing pile and a few thousand dollars of bounty.

From China's horrified, thinking people comes the call - "please do something to help us - we are powerless against these gangs of 'legalised' killers".

[Editor's note] Please take a good, hard look at these people and the fate of the dogs and ask yourself which animal is the most civilised. And please, never even contemplate selling one of your precious dogs to anyone in China, or to any country that is likely to be an entry point to China. This country deserves to be dogless ... until Hell freezes over! It can never be trusted with our most precious companions and service dogs.
