Endal demonstrates his skills at CPR on the St John dummy at the recent Emsworth Show.

Endal and Allen attend show

ALLEN Parton and partner Endal recently attended the Emsworth show where Endal was manning the CP stand. The world knows he can put Allen into the recovery position but this must surely be the next stage?

"He was very concerned about the dummy - not me, may I add!" Allen said, "and he put on a great first aid display for St John's!"

Allen was to address the first Assistance Dog Conference in Japan last month (October 7 - 15). Endal was not able to accompany Allen on this trip, but Allen was accompanied by his wife Sandra, who shared her experiences as the puppy operations manager of CPI. Allen said: "It is such an honour to have been invited...we will keep you posted". (See conference report P18)

"A meeting with the Prime Minister has been arranged and various other high powered get-togethers! Lets just hope that we can promote the value of dogs in a modern society, though I think they are already streets ahead of us all. They have Guide dogs, hearing, assistance, and Search and Rescue dogs all training under one roof...wow!"

This water is better han a treat Nothing like a romp with a friend

At the end of the day it was time to relax before the trip home. Endal decided that whatever the consequences he was going to soak in the pool until he felt like leaving it.
