PUPPYPAWS Inc is pleased to introduce its first festive holiday ornaments for pet lovers. Additionally, local Humane Societies will receive a portion of the proceeds from each sale to help all animals living in shelters. The suggested retail price for the 2004 PuppyPaws Ornament is $15.00.
The 2004 Pewter, paw-shaped ornament is easily engraved, measures 23/4" w x 21/2" h x 1/16" d, weighs 58.4 grams, and hangs by a satin PuppyPaws ribbon. The paw theme is carried through to the embossed gift box. $1.00 from each ornament sold to retailers will be sent directly to the Humane Society or rescue organisation of their choice.
"PuppyPaws traditionally has sent a portion of its direct consumer sales to local not-for-profits, but this is the first time local retail stores will be joining in to help shelters," states Pamela Meltzer, president of Puppy Paws Inc. The donation is to be made in the store's name, to the local shelter in their community. "I hope that each store that carries our product line including the new ornaments, will participate in the programme."
The PuppyPaws collection features 14k and sterling silver paw-shaped pendants, earrings, cufflinks, tie tacs, tuxedo studs, rings, bracelets and charms accented with precious and semi-precious gemstones. The line celebrates the love people have for their pets.
PuppyPaws pendants are the most popular item in the PuppyPaws collection. The 14k "Classic Paw" pendant, paws without gemstones, retail for $99US. Paws featuring birthstones range from $199 to $1200US. Many individuals wear the birthstone of their dog/cat while others choose to wear their own birthstone or favourite gemstone in their paw.
"We encourage owners of rescue dogs to remember the month their dog came home. If they consider that month the dog's "re-birth" month they can wear the birthstone of that month," explained Pamela Meltzer. All pendants come with 18", 14k or sterling silver chains.
For cat lovers, kitten paws are also available. Kitten paws use the same paw design but feature a wide variety of Tiger's Eye and Cat's Eye gemstones.
