The Pet Storybook Kit was inspired by an employee at My Family Tales who loves her dog, Bandit. Sidnie May wanted to find a unique way to record the memories that she and her family have shared with their dog. She developed a storybook guidebook so that animal lovers from the ages of one to 100 can be the authors of 28-page storybooks.
Each kit is self contained (a guidebook, a blank storybook, paper and die cuts to jazz up the pages) making it easy and simple to begin instantly. The entire storybook can be completed in less than three hours. Following the guidebook (developed after some 25 years of research in the discipline of stories), authors are prompted to recall the stories of their best furry (and not so furry) friends and enhance pages with favourite photos. My Family Tales also offers full service to customers who want art directors, graphic designers, and professional storybook writers to create their storybooks.

Stephanie doesn't think of her dog of 15 years as a pet. Bandit is a member of the family - her baby. Stephanie's mother took the time to write the story of Bandit and gave it to her as a gift in published form. Stephanie couldn't have been more surprised! She is delighted that her precious puppy's story was recorded and she loves to share it with her nephew.
