Tasty meals to tempt your dog

Chicken wings in aspic

INGREDIENTS
500g chicken wings
2 cloves of garlic, peeled
1 stalk of celery
green beans to taste
water

METHOD
Put the chicken wings into a pot and add enough water to cover. Coarsely chop the garlic, celery and beans and add to the pot. Simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Remove the chicken wings and vegetables from the water and remove all the meat from the chicken bones. Chop the meat. Set the meat and vegetables aside and put the bones into the pot of water. Simmer for about 2-3 hours. Discard the bones and return the reserved meat and vegetables to the stock. Put in refrigerator until it cools and the stock sets as jelly.

Fish pie

INGREDIENTS
500g boneless fish
milk and water
2 tablespoons oil
500g brown rice, cooked until soft
3 or 4 hard-boiled eggs, grated carrot, chopped parsley.

METHOD
Put the fish in a pan, cover with a mixture of half milk and half water, simmer for 20 minutes. Lift fish out and flake the flesh. Stir in the cooked rice, the fish and chopped eggs. Add grated carrot and chopped parsley.

Healthy baked log

INGREDIENTS
1 kg any lean meat or fish
1 piece of liver (lamb or beef)
vegetables - pumpkin, zuchini, cabbage, peas, beans, carrot (there should be twice as much vegetables as meat)
5 cloves garlic, chopped
5 cups of water or stock
2 stock cubes
2 cups brown rice

METHOD
Chop the meat and liver. Grate the vegetables you have on hand. Add the chopped garlic, the water or stock and the stock cubes. Add the brown rice or rolled oats. Cook until the rice is cooked. The stew can be thickened with a little wholemeal flour, cornflour or small pasta. This is enough to last two dogs for four or five days. Refrigerate or freeze as a log.
