DO you love animals? Want to help small rescue centres or sick animals? Well now is your chance.
The Wetnose Animal Campaign is a UK national campaign that raises money by doing fun events and giving financial help and support to the smaller animal rescue centres nationwide.
This is the fifth year now and every year a fund-raising day is held, in which everyone can join. Similar to Children In Need that raises money for children, Wetnose raises money for sick and needy animals. Wetnose has helped many centres up and down the UK from Scotland to Cornwall; it also buys equipment such as cat traps or incubators for those who cannot afford them.
Please make a note in your dairies and events calendars for this year's event. Friday May 28, 2004.
Wetnose gives at least two months' notice so people can plan ahead for their event. Whether it be a horse ride, bike ride, dog walk, dog clubs, salsa clubs, line-dancing, toe wrestling, cake eating event, pop star competition, or whatever you would like to do.
Wetnose is an organisation that was long overdue in society, as there is no one else to help animal rescue centres and it's about time things were changed. We can all raise money for good causes, but what do animals get ...nothing! Put Wetnose on your list for fund-raising events this year and give animals the chance they deserve.
So if you're an animal lover like us and want to do something to help, now is your chance - get thinking of what you would like to do. Ask your friends, family, school, office, clubs. Make a list and pick which event is popular - apart from raising money it's also time for some fun!

Wetnose is at this moment trying to get a lorry to Romania to help save 250 dogs. They are in a very desperate situation. Please contact me if you can help with donations or fund-raising.
