IVIS is a New York-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing up-to-date, clinical information to veterinarians, veterinary students and animal health professionals worldwide using Internet technologies. International Veterinary Information Service (IVIS), P.O. Box 4371, Ithaca NY 14852, USA. E-mail: info@ivis.org Website: http://www.ivis.org/
Since its creation two years ago, the International Veterinary Information Service (IVIS) website has grown to be one of the largest and most important veterinary information websites. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the editors, authors and IVIS personnel, the IVIS website now contains 371 book chapters and countless other features to assist veterinarians and veterinary students in their daily search for information. Today the IVIS community has 35,153 registered users.
However, there are still many people with Internet access who would really benefit from the website information but who have never heard of the IVIS website.
Reaching every veterinary student and clinician in the world is a very difficult task so K9 Perspective magazine is helping IVIS by putting the message out to all veterinarians, vet students, vet nurses and others who have an interest in animal health.
The IVIS project is a New York-based work-in-progress and any comments you may have would be appreciated. Comments or questions can be sent to info@ivis.org.
